Whatever happened to the women's movement? In the sixties and seventies it was all "I am woman hear me roar." Nowadays it's more like "I am woman, hear me cook and clean. Please marry me!" What happened? I feel like we've taken a step back into the fifties. People look at me like I'm an old maid because I'm not married yet. I've still got plenty of time. Sheesh. In other news: I need a date. I don't want to die alone!

Poncho knows why the revolution died. It was the uncomfortable combination of burning bras then marching in protest. Poncho liked the marching, especially without the bras.

Also, women stopped the revolution because a bi-product of feminism is that chivalry died. You want the equal treatment until we get to the door, then you want to be a lady and have me open the door. It's a double standard.

I think we are seeing a shift. There are a lot more women staying home, or wanting a guy to take care of them. Weird.

I came back to my place tonight hoping so badly that there would be a dreamy latin man waiting once I unlocked the door. Sadly, the only latin thing I found was my old spanish dictionary. :(
